Default Toy Review - Siege Greenlight

    Greenlight with Dazzlestrike
    Series - Generations
    Sub-line - Siege
    Hypo-line - War for Cybertron
    Size/class - Deluxe
    New/remould/redeco - Retool of Moonracer/Novastar
Released here - No, US Amazon Prime exclusive
Approximate Retail Price - $54 (including shipping)
    Allegiance - Autobot
    Alt-mode - Space Car
    Main Features/Gimmicks - Dazzlestrike
    Main Colours - Green, Cream
Main Accessories - Shield, Battle Master

    Robot Mode

Greenlight uses the same mold that POTP Novastar and Moonracer use. Besides the colour scheme, which is rather more striking than I thought it would be, the only change is a new headsculpt based on her G1 cartoon appearance – very 80’s alien from the future in its design. And she does look pretty cool sporting a shield and flaming sword.

    Vehicle Mode

Esentially identical to all her sisterbots, but once again the green really pops! And at least coming with a Targetmaster … er, I mean Battle Master partner, attaching her shield at the back makes it look like she has a vehicular battle mode.

They also changed the hands. They are fixed instead of flipping inwards.

I like that she has a warm green colour scheme to contrast with Moonracer’s cool green. Also the little dot of pink lippy haha. Wasn’t that keen based on promo pics but the colours are actually really nice in person.

Greenlight is a repaint of POTP Moonracer with a new head, while siege Chromia is a retool of Moonracer.

Actually we are both wrong. I had it pointed out to me on TCCA yesterday arvo that Chromia lacks the connector peg of the other 3 and is a unique mold. I had updated it on my blog but hadn't gotten around to doing it here.

So Moonracer, Novastar (whom I assume you meant when you said Moonracer a second time) and Greenlight all share a mold and Chromia doesn't.

Siege Chromia is not a unique mould. She is a retool of Moonracer, although it is true that she lacks the connector peg.
Generations Chromia is a unique mould.

Oh for frags sake! This is going to turn into one of those tiresome threads where everyone is intent on correcting people on minor crap.

Goktimus, TinyJazz - here is what TFwiki says.

Right. Sorted? OK - done. Back to talking about the actual figure

Don't sweat it mate, I think a lot of us had made the same erroneous assumption. In fact I spent a little while transforming both Chromia and Greenlight back and forth between modes simply to see for myself if what was said on TCCA and TFwiki seemed to confirm was true. They are indeed different figures with different transformations, but those differences don't amount to much - a bit like say G1 Windcharger and Gears
