Perhaps they're not confident that releasing these as mass market figures would make sufficient sales (either as a combined box set or as individual store figures). But yeah, for a limited set like the Seacons I definitely agree that a box set would be preferable, especially in terms of saving on postage costs. But I guess that's not an issue for their domestic market. Perhaps Hasbro Pulse will release their own version. If so, I would like to see some cosmetic variations done (e.g. more toy accurately coloured faces, chrome sword etc.), but given this whole "brand globalisation" rubbish mandate I wouldn't hold my breath.
Being a limited online exclusive at least makes the high price tag a bit easier to swallow. I cannot believe that TakaraTOMY's SG-26 Jetfire, which AFAIK is a regular mass store release toy, is is selling for ￥18000 ($250+)!That's easily $100 above our RRP! ...ya know, if Jetfire ever gets actually released in Australia.

Surely Hasbro release a version of these guys for there generations selects line or whatever it's called?
