Default Studio Series 07 Megatron, Mixmaster, Scavenger and Shockwave revealed

These all look kinda great. I had worried that Mixmaster would be a bit over-simplified, but that figure looks great.

So we had six new reveals from a Canadian Fan Expo yesterday, with a presentation first, then the toys were put out for public display, and then Hasbro released the official images through their facebook page and to some online retailers for pre-orders.

Four of the six are for Studio Series...
    SS-53 - TF2 VOY Mixmaster
    SS-54 - TF1 VOY Megatron
    SS-55 - TF2 LEAD Scavenger
SS-56 - TF3 LEAD Shockwave with figurines of Wheelie, Brains and a NEST para-trooper.

The Studio Series toys are noted as "wave 1" and have an official release date of January 1st in America (some online stores have them noted as March).

We get Brains and Wheelie....before we get a tiny Frenzy to finish off the '07 Cast. That's a little bit shit.

The official product photos were posted on TFW2005, which include larger versions of the Studio Series product photos as well as images of the two Selects figures.

The third wheel is screen-accurate. Here are better photos of the truck.

Interestingly, Mixmaster appears to be a licensed Mack product, like DotM Megatron - if you look at the render, you can make out Mack badging on the grille and the bottom of the door. The licensing deal would mean Hasbro could make Mixmaster's cement mixer truck more screen-accurate than the generic vehicles the other Constructicons to date have been.

Shockwave will only look good if he can bring home THAT paintjob he has on the show floor, which I highly doubt.

Same for this new megatron but if he did he'd show up the MPM (well he does need something he lacks highlights, the ss I mean)

What I'd like to see is a better official image of Shockwave's alt. mode rather than that image taken from a less revealing angle.

I thought the original Voyager was licensed? I had a feeling it had the logo on the box but could easily be wrong

    Yeah.

I'm certainly not against the movie style Cybertronian alt modes but there's a fairly harsh divide between the ones that are well done (TLK Voyager Megatron, TLK Leader Megatron, ROTF Deluxe Soundwave, HFTD Voyager The Fallen) and the ones that are blatantly just a robot sitting down.
