Default Assistance required: DX9 D12 Gabriel battery replacement

Does anyone here have DX9 D12 Gabriel? I need some help replacing the batteries.

I can see both forearms are exactly the same. Is it just a matter of twisting off the battery compartment (ie claw part on right/rocket nose part on left) on both forearms? There seems to be a little bit of ?give? on these parts.

So if the elbows are oriented downwards, should the battery compartment be turned clockwise or anti-clockwise? There is no mention of replacing the batteries in the instructions. Concerned something will break.

I'm pretty sure the bits holding the LED's just twist out but I can't remember if they also carry the batteries.

Thanks UltraMarginal. Do you remember which direction the bits holding the LEDs should be turned for removal? For example, if the elbows are oriented downwards, should the part be turned clockwise or anti-clockwise?
