The Robina Shopping Centre on the Gold Coast already has just about every retailer you could think of, and the newest expansion will include a Lego "certified" store, to open this weekend, Saturday September 28th.

I'm not sure if this will be like the Melbourne Discovery Centre that was only for kids and adults who have kids with them, or if this is a proper Lego retail store that is open to everyone.

The 188sqm store will incorporate custom-built elements such as a Gold Coast Lego mosaic, 3D models, a Pick-A-Brick wall, Build-Your-Own Minifigure stations, free build zones and brick engraving.
The store is also set to launch exclusive Lego releases on a monthly basis.
That makes it a relatively small store, but it sounds like it will be a regular place to visit for serious Lego fans in South East Queensland, with their monthly exclusives.
