    Default Kick scooter for adults

With my current transport woes, and buses and trains not going everywhere or quite far enough, I thought maybe a kick scooter, one designed for adults.
There seems to be a gap in public transport where you still have to walk a distance to get to where you are going.
I thought maybe a kick scooter might fill in that gap.

Have already accepted that I will look stupid but its better than being late fof work, or getting rained on for the ten minute walk home from the bus
and im just tired of walking, takes forever

Thoughts, ideas, experience? Laughter is welcome...

Plenty of adults in Sydney getting around on kick scooters, it's a reasonable solution to your problem.

Does anyone here have and use one?
im not a skateboard/bike/skates kind of person but this looks
    relatively idiot proof.
    Easier and faster than walking...

Anyone have any recommendations for which scooter to get. Not driving makes it cumbersome to get around and have a look.

When I was in San Francisco recently there were a lot of e-scooters getting around, also Monoboards, but they look like a recipe for disaster if you ask me.

I'd try YouTube for reviews and Google for Australian prices.
