Thanks, Crosshairs (right shade of blue for an Alternators Skids or a Pre- Earth Optimus Primal) is coming out soon and I think you can find an Ironhide at Bankstown or Merrylands' Toymate.

Anyway, I've finished the tyres last night, so he's complete and I need to start planning the trailer to build next year.

    Looks great!

The only thing that doesn't quite gel with me is the head, which feels too big for his face. I think it's the existing Ironhide crest in addition to the extra side panels which make the whole thing look larger than the face.

But the details and the colouring and the use of the cannons in an IDW style form are great.

Thanks 🙂 personally I would've loved to had a donor head that was closer to the original toy and I couldn't afford to get something 3D printed.

So that just left me with me modding the stock head because I like to keep elements from the stock toy to keep in this instance Siege styling consistent, the sides of his head are made up using 2 pieces of styrene glued together, it makes the head wider but a single piece of styrene would be fragile and I wanted a certain robustness to the custom. I do plan on revisiting the custom to build a trailer that would fit over the back of the van/truck and maybe I might be able to find a suitable replacement.
