Default My Old TF Battle Scene

Been sorting through a lot of old possessions and came across this sketch I did in the late 80s of third season Transformers characters: https://www.flickr.com/photos/725155...7673654823481/

It was drawn on a manila folder in which I kept notes for a short-lived Transformers role-play game.

Reminds me of drawings I would do, but your figures are more detailed than my used to be.

Your understanding of perspective drawing at a young age was top notch!

    Thanks all.

By that age (teens) I mostly used pencils for colour but with this used markers. I think that is because Transformers lend themselves to vibrant in-your-face colour. The energy blasts and explosions work particularly well with markers.

That is awesome! My attempts to draw transformers as a kid were not very successful... no artist in me at all.

I reckon a lot of creativity can come from posing those toys, arranging them in scenes and such, or photographing them.
