    Default Earthrise Cliffjumper

So I've been looking at some reviews of this (keenly anticipated) figure.

And it seems he's quite small for a deluxe. In fact he's only marginally taller than a scout. It's partly offset by his fairly substantial weapons (the big gun seen in More Than Meets The Eye and his hydrofoil thingamajig), but he does look small in packaging.

    Check some photos here.

On the upside? He'll scale with your Combiner Wars/Titans Returns/POTP Minibots.

On the downside? He's going to cost you Deluxe price.

Obviously I have own opinions on this. But I'm keen to see what others think about him... so I'll share mine down the thread.

I'm interested in ER Cliffjumper, the boot part forming is a surprise but when you see how the transformation is engineered it makes sense, also I can see the figure being retooled as the rumoured Runamuck figure.

I don't want a Cliffjumper that is the same size as a deluxe, and it looks cool and has good reviews so that sums it up really.

No different to giving Voyagers platform shoes these days and calling them Leaders
You win some, you lose some.

Then there's the whole thing of not having a scout class, so we need to put him somewhere & charge extra

I'm really liking the new scale with Siege/Earthrise. I would rather pay less for these not-leaders and not-deluxes (in Cliffjumper's case) but at least they try to justify the price with accessories. I still preordered and bought them anyway, though.
Looking to buy lucky draw Armada Prime and Diaclone Marlboor Wheeljack.

I'm not thrilled with paying Deluxe prices for a Legends sized figure. But the figure itself is exactly what I wanted.

To pay $30 for that!! They'd better include impressive extras to make it worth it.

Most of the accessories will be stored away. I would still probably buy it, but I already have a cliffjumper in that almost size. I dunno, I'll wait til I have one in hand and see.

This sums it up for me. It's exactly what I wanted. Sure I'd much rather pah $20ish. But... I'd rather pay $30 and get what I have been waiting for than pay $20 for another half-assed Bumblebee repaint. Truth be told, I'm more likely to just pass on something else I'm not as keen on and divert funds here. Quality beats quantity.
