    Tiby...Dell wont give their ink carts to any retailer forcing you to go through them online or ring India for replacements.

    You have three options for cheaper alternatives;

    1) Refill your existing cartridge. Saves the environment and you money.
    2) JetTec make a compatible cartridge. It is good quality, made in the UK. Not cheap Chinese crap.
    3) Those carts you pictured are low yield versions for your specific printer. the higher yield versions are an M4640 Black and an M4646 Colour. They have around twice the ink as the ones you have there but aren't twice the price.

    Thanks for the tips TheDirtyDigger.

    I'll definitely be using those options in the future.

    I got a silver spoon from my Principal today as it was my last day at my current school - I start at a new school from Term 2. Also got a box of chocolates as a collective gift from my faculty and a hand-made card (one of my colleagues is a serious scrap-booker).

    Throughout the day my whiteboards got graffitied by kids with farewell messages.

    And yes, that's a TFTM movie poster on my classroom wall.

    Why is it that we can justify spending huge amounts of funds on TF's but when it comes to having to spend money on things like Ink for the Printer, it really drives us up the wall...
    That's why I did away with that headache a couple of months ago and bought a laser instead.

    No worries Mate. The more cryptic, the more out there - the better.
