Not really Soundwarp, they only look the same in a glance at pics but the material is not similar. They're made of clear acrylic plastic, think big plastic clear dice... while the ones that came with the insecticon are rubbery translucent plastic. These things are hard plastic, but the way they bend the light in their transparent cubey goodness is pure pleasure. Its like they catch the light and make their own glow. oh and they're bigger than the ones that came with the insecticons. I saw some of these with a purple tinge as well being sold on ebay international by the makers (they're not officially Hasbro products anyway, poo on Hasbro for missing out again).
anyway some comparative pics below... enjoy

Kinda OT: Hows the Gundam Seed animated? I've always loved the Gundams but the anime always bored the craps outta me.

Oh, and Revoltech Giant Robo was my Feb non-TF buy.

I rate Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny and Gundam Seed Stargazer as my favourite Gundam series although I'm watching Gundam 00 (Double O) at the moment which could potentially be even better. I've always found Gundam as an anime series to be better than ANY TF series released thus far although for toys, the TFs will always have a slight edge over Gundams.
