ahh $28 for concession, category 2.. Category 1 was like $56..

    --------1-----2-------3
    Adult $75.00 $45.00 $33.00
    Conc. $56.00 $33.00 $25.00
    Junior $56.00 $33.00 $25.00

for some reason it was $28 instead of $33 on the ticket-master computer when the girl printed it out, don't ask me why but I won't complain..

Nice, I'm still debating whether or not I should buy one tomorrow for the Melbourne BDO, I've been the last few years, but the first line up announcement this year is a bit so so for me... The only bands I want to see are COG, which I can see anytime they come to melb, Birds of Tokyo which I can just check out anytime they're in melb really.. The only international bands I like there are Bullet for my Valentine and Arctic Monkeys, but they're not my favs so I can live without seeing them... Really depends on what the 2nd line announcement up looks like, but will probably give it a miss... If someone unmissable comes up, I'll just get one off EvilBay or something... 07 and 08 were the bests BDOs in recent years in terms of line ups for me

a pair of handbrake cables (left & right) from Lander Blacktown for $328...

Why is it that we can justify one TF purchase after another but we shake our head when it comes to things like this..?

Having spent the past few weekends fixing up the gf's car, I can sympathise with the insane prices dealers want to charge you for items. Case in point some Ford Festiva Tie Rod ends. Ford wanted $140 each for the ends and the arms (which I didnt need) and would not sell just the ends. Repco for just the rod ends wanted $121 each. Got them from Autobarn for $27 each...

For less essential things than Handbrake cables I suggest Pick and Payless, so much cheaper and easier to deal with. (as long as you actually know what you are looking for).

Because TF's come before physical preservation of the self.

Having had my first car for 10+ years, I've gotten quite good at hunting down replacement parts for bargain prices but handbrake cables (for my car atleast) seem to snap every 3-4 years... *shakes head* & the ones I've found at Pick n' Payless/Pick n' Pull are pretty much at the end of their tether... & the only other place that sells 'em is Nissan directly... Oh well... *shrugs*
