    Default Breaking Transformers

Yes, do you guys have many experiences with this?

Cause I was having a shower before, thinking "hmm, when I think about it really, I don't have anything really against Hasbro because looking at it understanding that they have to minimise cost and the sacrifices that have to be made and understanding as well that it is a kids toy - the transformers line is really, pretty good - except that the price here is so much higher than the states...

THEN, I get out of the shower after cleaning up and I discover my silverstreak has broken <_< where? The connector that connects(yup) the roof piece and the spine (the kind of L shaped piece).

HOW!?!?! I don't know :\ it's not like I was giving it an alcho bath or anything either - I didn't even paint that area. >_>

SO, what's happening now is it's slowly supergluing itself back(hopefully) together. Add this on top of an earlier accident I had with the toy while trying to silver-ise his spoiler using the metalising lacquer I'd used for Ironhide's gun (caused one side of his silver of the rear part of the vehicle to be stuffed up and hence requiring a repaint) (which is still in progress).

THEN I discover in between all of this some of the BLACK PAINT has rubbed off his ROOF!

    D'oh!
So rant rant rant, but I'm most shattered about how that piece of plastic just... broke! >_>

    Any experiences yourselves?
    Thanks

I've never had a new figure break but I've repaired a couple of G1's over time & I've discovered that the Loctite Activator & SuperGlue 2-pack is just-about perfect

approx. $10 from Bunnings & well worth it

    Wait.

You were having a shower with your toys and you don't know how it broke, now the toy is supergluing itself back together?

Within the first minute of opening TFA Lockdown I snapped one of his hands off.

Problem is TF's are now so popular they have to make so many so QC suffers. What we as adult collectors need to be doing is discouraging all children from liking and collecting TF's so that QC goes up and when we finally pass away from old age and incontinence the brand dies with us.
