TakaraTomy have been tweeting out production samples of a number of toys newly revealed by Hasbro, to confirm that they will be releasing them in Japan as well at some point (no listings yet).
The Studio Series 86 figures.

Some small scans of the latest Figure King magazine, of the Transformers pages, showing items that we already know about, but gives us some extra details and images.

A licensed item coming to Japan is something you won't see released by Hasbro - a water gun in the form of Gen1 gun Megatron.

It looks really nice, but not the sort of toy you'd want to risk carrying out in public, especially in America.

To be released in February (made to the pre-order numbers), for 7000yen.

I forgot all about this one, and probably glad I didn't try getting one at the time, as it would have been a little over au$100 to get shipped here.
Anyway, it has been released, and someone has shown off some in-hand photos of it.
It is a licensed item (not by TakaraTomy) and looks to be about the size of the Masterpiece Megatron toy.
