    Default EB Games/Zing Earthrise preorders

Here are a bunch of Earthrise preorders that have popped up on the EB Games website. They are also on the Zing website. Unless you missed a Snapdragon or Doubledealer there's probably nothing worth getting excited over.

Well, I finally caved in and pre-ordered Doubledealer (and Greasepit) from EB. I'd normally go cheaper but hoping even this 1 transaction means they'll consider getting more waves in.

Really? At the Big W I work at Optimus is shelf warming and Astrotrain and Doubledealer sold out. Maybe people here all ordered their Optimus's online earlier in the year ¯\_(?)_/¯.

Miranda bigw I couldn't find any, I saw double dealer though. Tried all the kmarts/myer around Sutherland area too, no luck.

Plenty of Astrotrains at Myer Miranda. Maybe stores aren't getting an even allocation of leader class stock.

    G2 Megatron preorder as well.
On the lookout for MISB Headmaster Highbrow, Takara or Hasbro. I'm sure I could make you a sweet deal!

A licensed Optimus Prime helmet is up on EB Games, by a company called Modern Icons.

It appears to be very similar to the Voice-changer Optimus Helmets that Hasbro did, with sounds and voice clips, but with light up eyes.

    • Premium collectible wearable helmet inspired by Optimus Prime from Transformers.
    • Electronic collectible helmet with LED light-up eyes and authentic Optimus Prime voice phrases and sounds.
    • Push-button activation.
    • Detailed paint and battle damage for a real world feel
    • This fully wearable helmet comes with adjustable straps for best fit for most adult head sizes
    • Detailed interior sculpting and design.

    It requires 3 AA batteries.

It is a hefty $240, with $50 deposit... out in September.

(the materials must be of significant quality, yet still light enough to wear, to be that expensive... I mean, in person it might end up looking less "kiddie-plastic" than the Hasbro ones, but I can't see it needing to be over double the price, when the concept and technology has been out now since 2007)
