    Default Oh no, not sunstreaker

So... since im on holidays now (thank god) ive decided to do a custom. Seeing how good the one on ebay looked ive decided to do my own, with one small change, im doing a diaclone one

ive done some design drawings which ill post here in the next day or two, but so far all ive done is dissmanteled it, and ill prob paint the base coat in the next hour or two.

i do have one question tho... does anyone know how i can get his back wheels off? that and te joint for the back end of the car. theyre both held in by pins and im not sure how to get them out, cause i dont want to break the pins or anyhting. can anyone lead me in the right direction?

will post pics tonite after work

    you mean wheeljack?
    Not TOOOOO clear there :b
to get the back wheels off, I would recommend the use of a souldering iron. Heat upthe pins for about 30-40 seconds (may need more) and the wheels (and pins) pop right off!

I've actually already got one wheeljack in the works for my classics display - so I'm looking forward to yours!

I'll look for the pin removal tute and get back to you

    Great minds think alike...

    Anything custom-related, I check Sector70 first - IMO, it's become the mecca of TF-customising

im going to do a G1 version too, but that one will be easier cause this one is mainly painting, whereas the other one will just be painted white with some vinyl stickers

I still think a repaint masterclass would be a good idea.

I've got two repaints I want to do with Universe Prowl toy but I might have to wait until summer for some more free time.

i finally took some pictures of what ive done

    what isnt in the pictures:
everything that was yellow is now white
the rear quaterpanel is getting painted red as a type this, although it needs at least 1 more coat
    its in pieces

so here is what ive finished minus some touchups:

    roof:

    bonnet:
