Roller, I only suggested wikipedia because a couple of days had passed and there was no answer. I personally got the question from reading the actual UK comics not wikipedia.
There's nothing in the rules that says you can't use Google or Wiki or whatever to do some research into finding the answers, so it's not really cheating. after all, people can also look through DVDs or flip through comics and books to research answers too.
And there's a strictly defined set of words that are acceptable for Scrabble - for example "OK" is not an acceptable abbreviation for "okay." In Scrabble you can only use "okay" or the more archaic spellings of "oke" and "okeh" but "ok" is not accepted.
