Cos Scatman Crothers passed away between the '86 Movie & Season 3 of the Cartoon.
Jazz had already been animated into the episodes "Five Faces of Darkness", "Dark Awakening", "Forever is a Long Time Coming" & "Call of the Primitives" so to avoid re-animating them, Jazz's lines were left out altogether.
Or something like that...

I love my Technobots. Crazily trying to think of custom ideas to get them actually. Though I might go w/ Vector Prime for Scattershot. I shld give credit to Jaydisc though. It was his reminder about the Universe legend version being molded off him that has made me consider that. And looking at the head, it'll be a decent choice.
EDIT:
Just thinking about it Lightspeed and Strafe were G2 names, right? So that would make my reasoning flawed. Hrm.. so you mean the mold was revisited?
