Pulse: Alana is a Tlalakan not a human. I wouldn't even classify Tlalakans as near-humans either as their physiology would be entirely different from humans since they appear to be amphibious. I wouldn't count their transformation ability as part of their biological make-up as it appears to be magical in nature.
