Looks like a character that originated in the Cyberverse series is being used in the MLP/TF comic - Wildwheel (the western themed character/toy).

Despite being very G1 cartoon in appearance, that series has incorporated a few characters that are either neo-G1 like Windblade and Gauge (a new bot from the current IDW book) or from the Beast-era: Mach Kick and Battle Unicorn.

I expect any new robot in Cyberverse to be effectively considered a G1/neo-G1 character going forward. I wouldn't mind a WFC Wildwheel toy actually.

The second issue of the MLP/TFs volume 2 comic might be out this week, as there is a preview out.
