It also said that there would be a new toy shown off, that was the first ever toy of this character... which wouldn't be too many left if it is part of Generations and homages a character from the 80s cartoon or comics.

Probably the Ark / Last Autobot. Bit of an oopsie there if so...

But if not, then about the only significant character left without a toy from the 80s would be what, Xaaron? Or could it be one of Magnus' action women? Maybe Buster, if anyone still cares about him...

Well I think Xaaron was released in a Transformers Club Shattered Glass G1 Soundwave release actually. I know its so obscure a release it might not count, or a marketing guy writing that might not have realised, but given they dredged back into Transformers UK continuity for Centurion, I?m hoping its Death?s Head and they?ve licensed it from marvel.

Why would people feel compelled to buy this self-Transforming thing if it were made by Hasbro?
