I think that Jazz may be back on the table. I was doubtful Porsche would licence a straight toon Jazz but Skids shows that Takara will still produce a traditional styled MP if the car company wants it. I think this is needed for a realistic alt mode MP Jazz. I may be wrong though!

I love Porsche because of their race cars, but when it comes to licensing and marketing they are clueless.
Studio series is done? Is a porsche 935 . License was never an issue, people made this up.

I dunno why we keep saying licensing issue when things like Blaster, insecticons etc needed no license but they never bothered to make.

This. Given how close SS86 was daring to go I'd be happy with an MP like that as a starter. Chuck some Toyhax stickers on it and you're good to go.
Looking to buy lucky draw Armada Prime and Diaclone Marlboor Wheeljack.

When I was growing up, Jetfire was one of my favourite characters and the original toy has always been both a blessing and a curse to me. It was such an impressive toy but obviously wasn't Jetfire and was one I never could afford. It had such a lasting effect, I use him as my OTCA member name (and don't ask me how many Bandai and Revoltech Macross VF1s I have as a form of compensation - it wasn't all Robotech induced ).

So this rumour does please me. But... my Siege Jetfire is pretty much Masterpiece already and cured a decades long disappointment (even my Thrilling 30 didn't fix that). Siege has pretty much cartoon accurate robot and jet modes, and scales just fine against MP Megatron, Optimus and the rest of the gang.

And then there is the cost. To draw upon Megatron, "With his size and probable strength, he will make an expensive Decepticon."

I?m going to throw a random number in and say he will be comparable to MP-44 Optimus, so in the $500 -$600 ballpark, given his size.

MP Skyfire is an odd choice for Takara. They probably think that there are enough hardcore MP collectors and Skyfire fans who would buy this. As you mentioned, the Siege one is pretty much very animation accurate in both modes. The MP version would be slightly larger, have less greebles, better paint job and plastic, and perhaps better looking undercarriage in alt mode. If this turns out to be true, we'll see heaps of Fanstoys Phoenix for sale online soon.

Not mine. Takara can stick their bad quality Nastypieces where the sun don’t shine.

Anyone who says people will be selling Fanstoys has no idea of the crazy fandom in it by itself. I know this as I know some Fanstoys are not even great but because is no longer made, crazy prices has been up.

I personally cant see this piece being sold under $450 at this stage by current TT pricing trend. I am personally contented with the Fanstoys one, I had not bought a TT hound due to its issues and have left it as Fanstoys. < dont get me wrong, I actually think TT one looks nice but is the quality that I was concern.

Agree. I think my last official MP I bought was Sunstreaker which I hate. No interest in Hound or Arcee as I already have 3P versions which I’m happy with. I think I paid $210 for my Phoenix. The TT one will be 3 times that price I reckon.

TFW2005 has a screenshot of an MP Jetfire protoype taken from a page of the Transformers Generations Book 2021. The prototype is next to MP-10. MP-10 is an odd choice, but perhaps Takara made this is prototype years ago before they designed MP-44. I suppose official prototype doesn't mean that we're certain to get a release of the MP figure.
