Thank you for the link. That is one slow loading website!

I am guessing this is the same even that used to be at Parramatta town hall, then the Panthers Pavilion, then moved to Windsor for a bit? I must say I gave up trying to follow the things for a while, but it may be good to have another look at one. I see they are more con-ey than before, what with wrestlers, lightsaber classes and cosplayers in attendance.

Not a fan of nearly $10 for a ticket, but it seems that post covid, all events have had a bit of a price increase, the Blacktown Medieval Fayre even charged for attendance this year.

This will have alot of the same vendors from Panthers but is not run by Lindsay but by another bloke. You can use your Discover voucher to buy tickets (i think).

A fair few of the same vendors yea, but alot more. There's 2 rooms each of the size of that Panthers Pavillion I reckon. Lots to look at. The guys running this run the one down in Campbelltown too, just this one has way more space.

So what was the fair like?

If it was decent (although, admittedly I am far more likely to purchase Lego than tf's at the moment) I would love to check out the July one. If it was mostly cards and matchbox/hotwheels cars, then I can safely give it a skip.

Decent. You'd likely find stuff you'd want. Lots to look at beyond just matchbox cars and cards. Worth checking at least once in any case imo.

I've found toy/comic fairs in Australia (Well, South Australia anyway, can't speak for other states..) a bit rubbish if you're looking for transformers, or anything really that's not Star wars, Funko pops, and diecast vehicles. Went to the Adelaide toy fair last weekend, there was one guy who must have bought up all the local stock of g1-box style headmasters and trying to sell them for $50ea, and a couple of people had some loose, no accessory and usually broken G1s for $50+. Not worth the time or entry cost if you aren't into the other mentioned stuff really.

I thought this one was pretty good. I managed to pick up so 90s SW figs and random toys. If you are after specific stuff it can be hard (yes, there are alot of funko pops and HW's) but if you like all things nerd it was pretty good. I like the stalls with random nerd stuff from the last 20 years. The sellers often do good prices because they just want to move it along. I will likely skip the next one but go to the one after.
