IGN has preview photos of two of the Legacy toys provided in advance of PulseCon. They also reveal the two ?gimmicks? of the line: the first is that they have transparent coloured ?Energon? weapons or armour, the second as seen on Bulkhead is that they have mini-con ports.

Yes, the mini-cons are back it seems.
On the lookout for MISB Headmaster Highbrow, Takara or Hasbro. I'm sure I could make you a sweet deal!

God I hope so. I love me some mini-cons.

Anyone else think that Bulkhead is a pre-tool? He's just a little to square in the chest for me to think it was designed specifically for him.

Bulkhead is definitely off a bit. At first glance I saw the original CHUG Inferno and Grapple figures...

That was what I initially thought he was a pre-tool for, but it'd be way to soon for those 2 to be released again.

Yeah, this seems worth staying up for (or getting up early for... haha).
AFAIK this is the Wave 1 lineup. Keen on most of it tbh.

    Core Class
    Skywarp
    Hot Rod
    Iguanus

    Deluxe
    Skids
    Dragstrip
    Prime Arcee
    Kickback

    Voyager
    Blaster
    Bulkhead

    Leader
    Laser Optimus Prime (G2)
Looking to buy lucky draw Armada Prime and Diaclone Marlboor Wheeljack.

I thought this too, but they've been done so recently that I don't think that's it.

In any event, I like the *idea* of Bulkhead. I'm probably not going to get specifically that figure, but I love Generations being used to do something other than give us extremely screen accurate mini G1 MP figures.

I like both of them, though not exactly what I was picturing. Bulkhead is very square and a bit skinny in the legs which I would not expect, but it’s still a decent take on a G1-ified version. Hopefully the Arcee figure has some level of care and isn’t just a slight Earthrise Arcee recolour with some new parts.

I think I will replace my Generations Skids with Legacy Skids, but skip any Crosscut recolour of Legacy Skids so I stick have one representation of the IDW based mould on my shelf.
I have a list of all G1 characters that have been released in CHUG form. You can find it here. Please feel free to let me know if I got anything wrong so I can fix it.
