On the lookout for MISB Headmaster Highbrow, Takara or Hasbro. I'm sure I could make you a sweet deal!

I saw that when I walked into work today. It's tempting, but I already have the BWR version.
I have a list of all G1 characters that have been released in CHUG form. You can find it here. Please feel free to let me know if I got anything wrong so I can fix it.

I had decided to stop at just the first for Vintage Beast Wars toys, as I didn't need to be paying hefty prices on a heap of toys that I already owned... but then Scorponok was revealed to be a redeco of the original toy, closer to the cartoon colours, so I caved and decided to get that one too... and it will be treated more like the redeco Big Convoy (mammoth) toy, and not as a Vintage reissue.
(on the original toy, all of the grey parts of the new release were black)

Think I prefer the black over grey but it is a heavy re colour so I would have to buy it too if I were still collecting.

    He shoots bees!

They are drones that attach themselves or "sting" the enemy with different types of "venom"

Optimus Primal: Oh, yeah, what are you gonna do Megatron? Release a scorpion? Or bees? Or scorpions with bees in their pincers and when they pinch you, they shoot bees at you?

I can see the thought process behind it... the Beast Wars toys had play gimmicks to them, and the designers had a missile launcher in one claw, so could have had more missiles in the other claw but decided to have something else fire out, and probably looked at some different types of drone options, and maybe the claw shell made someone think of wings... and decided to make it an animal drone.
I think Polar Claw's bat drone was a little bit more of a stretch though, but the designers might have felt that both Mega-sized toys needed a launchable drone.
