Well i finished putting together my universe Sideswipe together last night after painting him Candy Apple Red so enjoy

that shall be my next photo but he'll probally only be transformed a couple of times cause the paint thinkness is a bit too much i think which is a little worrying

I used automative paint. I nicked most the paint from work, but i got a bottle of the Candy Apple Red from Spray Chief you should also be able to get everything else you need from them as well. Including Plastic Primer, Silver basecoat and clear.
