I'd like to see a Wasp custom using Activator BB as the main figure. I was a bit disappointed that Hasbro went for a totally different look for the toy version of the character...Even the box art shows his cartoon self looking totally different - Maybe he befriends Black Arachnia and she gets him mutated with organics? That would be kinda cool and make me happier about the toy, anyhow.

The Animated Wasp toy is based on Waspinator - which is basically what Wasp becomes... hence why he talks like Waspinator and has his colours etc. at the end of the "Autoboot Camp" episode... it was always obvious that Wasp was destined to become Waspinator. I'd say that he will appear as Waspinator in Season 3. The Wasp you're referring to is basically his Cybertron form - so I'm not sure if that would really be worth doing as a toy if he's going to appear as Waspinator for the majority of his appearance in the show. If they did do it as a repaint of Activator Bumblebee, I do hope that they would retool the mould to at least give him a different head. Wasp's head always did look like Waspinator.

Split my random thought and the follow ups to its own thread as it wasn't suited to the review thread.
And an Activator Wasp would be a nice kitbash too from that toy.
I assume because it's mostly white repainting it would be easier than using a normal Activator Bumblebee.
