Sounds like some naughty employee must've shelved the toys before the official date (which is printed on every case) and then a manager must've noticed and pulled them off -- otherwise they can get in trouble from Hasbro. I got my first Revenge of the Sith toys like 5 hours before the official release date - the store manager told me not to tell anyone about it until after midnight.
dirge called me at work from Chadstone to tell me what he'd found -- I was joygasming so hard at my desk that my colleagues were shocked and looked at me as I was gasping all the oxygen out of the staffroom. They thought that someone just had a baby and their looks of baited mutual joy quickly changed to stunned shock when I told them that it was over a new wave of Transformers toys; they'd gotten themselves excited for nothing.

Not much at High Point. TRU has the Animated Leader + Activator for $69.99, but that's still not as good as Kmart's $39+$13, but TRU did have Megs.
TRU is nearly all '07 movie toys. Myer had a Cyclonus, Smokescreen, Dinobot.
EVeryone seemed to have heaps of Universe Ultras, but no Universe Voyagers
