So this may be the reason why suddenly shocky became scarce.
I was even eager then to try its many other smart-modes including the "shockgun-mode" - as shown below.
This time I have to put them in my watchlist! When are we expecting them to hit our local retailers?

Looking at those pics of Animated Shockwaves side by side, neither of them look better or worse to me - but I'll stick with the original as that's the colours he has in the show. I'm not particularly interested in non-G1 Transformers unnecessarily trying to look G1... feels try hard to me.
