If you're already familiar with SS86 Wreck-Gar, then you know what to expect from Junkheap. This toy carries over most of Wreck-Gar's strengths and weaknesses. The most functional difference are the addition of wheel guard panels on the arms. This is accurate to an earlier design for this Junkion by Floro Dery, and while he lacks these panels in TFTM, Junkyard does appear with them in the Marvel Comics and Season 3 of the Sunbow cartoon. On the down side, these guards make it impossible to attach the wheel-shields onto the arms. On the other hand, these guards already act like shields anyway, plus the left guard has an inbuilt gun. The axe is identical to Wreck-Gar's, so be careful not to mix them up (unless you couldn't care less ). Finally have a second version of this mould, I was disappointed to discover that the rider can't really attach to the bike seat. There is a peg on the bike seat and a corresponding slot beneath the pubic basin, but it just doesn't connect; unlike Deluxe Class Wreck-Gar and Junkheap who attach really securely. Overall a nice companion piece for Wreck-Gar, although I think that the Deluxes offer better value (both in terms of dollar and play value).
