I already have multiples of the G1 Hot Rod mold, but this is so tempting since IIRC, this is the first animation colour accurate G1 Hot Rod toy, ever. Even the MP-09 and MP-28 molds never had the correct colours for Movie 86 Roddy. The lack of decals really suits this toy too. The OG stickers just make the bot mode look too 'busy'.

It's weird getting the nostalgia feels for the original but also having this new one giving the feels of just being right.

Yes, Retro Starscream is US$62.32 with airmail small packet……. And if I wait, its sure to sell out tomorrow.
But if I order, its sure to hit Zing for half the price, lol.

I reckon there's a chance Popcultcha will get them, as they already have G1 Astrotrain in stock and G1 Optimus Prime on preorder. They've been getting in so many specialised figures lately - Gen Selects (inc Magnificus), Holiday Optimus Prime, Masterpieces, Shattered Glass, Legacy Hero is Born, Origins Bumblebee etc.

I love RK, however since the pandemic they stopped shipping to Australia then when they brought it back, the pricing was through the roof. Has that settled down a bit, I'd love to start using them again.
