Robot Mode

Behold! The 3rd toy based off our favourite Armada character! The robot mode does a good job at giving us a new Hot Shot toy, but unlike the character, his roof does not go on his arms, but rather behind his legs. The figure has much better articulation than his previous figures, feauturing much better shoulder joints (meaning his arms have better movement), and heel joints as well. He sadly doesn't come with a Jolt mini-con, but like Legacy Armada Starscream, his mini-con activated power up is manual now, meaning he has his Axlezooka included with him (unlike his Universe 2008 figure). Also unlike his original figure, his engine gun can now easily fit in his hand.
If you have a Legacy Armada Starscream, the Star Saber is compatible with Hot Shot (the original probably also is, but I don't have that).

Vehicle Mode

His transformation is a bit complex compared to his previous figures, but he holds up much better than his Universe 2008 figure. While he might not come with compatible with him, as he can easily ride in his vehicle mode (unlike Armada Starscream). Sadly there aren't any mini-con ports in his robot mode.

Overall thoughts
Even without Jolt and the slightly inaccurate robot mode, this is still the best Armada Hot Shot figure to date. If you're a massive Hot Shot Fan (hello itswalky), then you know what to do.
