Alternate opening featuring Optimus Prime vs Transit
This does explain why we see Optimus Prime walking through that bus depot in the final cut of the film. It reminds me of The Transformers The Movie where we see Optimus Prime get up off the ground for no apparent reason, because there was a deleted (unanimated) scene where the throws a Decepticon onto the ground right before confronting Megatron.

I do hope that we still get a Transit toy though.

It's nice seeing a bus design in the film, definitely something different, and actually seeing Transit in motion really made me appreciate his design. I'm looking forward to seeing the whole scene, and while I can understand why the test audience disliked Optimus' pile of bodies, it's a shame the scene couldn't have been re-edited and saved for the final film.
