    Default bringing Jetfire back to life



    inspired by the info about the peroxiding transformers i thought i might attempt to fix my jetfire which has really yellowed lately. initial results are promising will post more pics when i am happy with the results and we get some more sunny days.

    one question tho, how does the plastic feel? is it more brittle than the original?

    the feel and look of the plastic does Not change one little bit you would never know anything was down to it

    Thats a massive change, I'm really surprised that it has fixed it up that much!

    But as others have suggested, only time will tell if the chemical makeup of the plastic has been deteriorated to breaking point.
