custom Combat Hero Optimus Prime

It was either this or Nova Prime, but Nova has those damn wings...

Made from an energon Rodimus, the head and chest from a universe deluxe Optimus and a KO G1 Brawl's cannons. I cut a rectangle shape in Rodimus' waist flap and glued the Optimus grill in there. I cut off the Rodimus faux chest and glued the Optimus chest in place. It was a bit shorter than the Rodimus chest plate so I put a strip of styrene in to fill it out. I had to paint the clear windows because otherwise you could see the mess I made removing the original chest.

I had to make the cavity for Rodimus' head bigger to fit Optimus'. By one of those lucky coincidences the neck stalk was the exact size to fit into the screwhole in the back of the Optimus head. All I needed to do was cut the ball joint off.
