G2 Combiner Wars Protectobots

I had painted these as Guard City but I got the G2 itch after doing up a custom CW G2 Grimlock.
Defensor's colour palette came together better than I expected.

This is not a knock on your work - which is pretty good. Especially the gold on First Aid.

...but damn. Orange, red & multiple blues. Every time i see pics of the G2 Protectobots, I understand why they never went into production.

Given how Hasbro is slowly doing G2 versions of the Stunticons and Arielbots are coming next year, I think it's safe to assume sooner or later our eyes will be assaulted by new G2 Protectobots.
