This toy is basically a new mould with some shared parts from Cyberverse Deluxe Class Grimlock. It does feature a much nicer looking sculpt and colour scheme. The metallic silver and gold looks much nicer than the flat grey and yellow from Cyberverse. It also has a more distinctively Grimlock looking Dinobot and robot mode. Despite the robot head being a new sculpt, it is reverse-compatible with Cyberverse Grimlock's crown; that's a neat feature.

Distinction without difference
Despite improved cosmetics and being an almost entirely new mould, this toy moves and transforms in exactly the same way as Cyberverse Deluxe Grimlock. It's weird; you have lazy repaints of Cyberverse toys in EarthSpark (e.g. Skywarp, Shockwave, Starscream), but then HasTak went to all the effort of designing and tooling a predominantly new mould... only for it to end up being the same as Cyberverse Grimlock. It's like EarthSpark Grimlock copied Cyberverse Grimlock's homework.

This toy is essentially just an upgrade of Cyberverse Grimlock. But if you're perfectly happy with Cyberverse Grimlock and you don't care about building Mandroid, then give this toy a miss.
