Note that the TakaraTomy version of the toy is being shown/reviewed here. The Hasbro version is the same mould but has cosmetic differences. Also note that the Hasbro toy's name is Terran Thrash; I'm using the Japanese name for this toy, "Thrash Malto," as it's the Japanese version that I'm reviewing, and it also distinguishes this toy from Warrior Class Terran Thrash.
TakaraTomy have given this toy some nice colours though, particularly with the metallic teal and gold decos, as well as gunmetal grey on the shoulders and toes. The white is quite vibrant and looks nicer than the dull grey on the Warrior Class figure. Neither deco is truly like the cartoon model, which is silver, but I prefer the brightness of this deco. This toy lacks a sidecar, which instead is permanently sculpted in shield mode; it cannot transform into the sidecar. This toy also sports a pair of tampographed logos on the shoulders, which the Hasbro version lacks. Transformation is fiddly and some parts require some massaging to get them to stay in place, which can be mildy annoying.
As with many post-Cyberverse Deluxe Class figures, this toy is just okay. While the decos are nice, mould-wise there's nothing really outstanding nor terrible about this mould. Sidecar aside, this is a definite improvement over the Warrior, and for just a few dollars above the Warrior's RRP, I would rate this toy as being superior value for money. If you're collecting EarthsPark, I would recommend this figure over the Warrior.
