Fun fact: did you know that Aftermath is voiced by Australian-American musician and actor, Michael Peter Balzary, known professionally as Flea? Also a founding member of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.





A nice solid and hulking looking robot form that's looks quite similar to the cartoon model. The accessories are all removable and can be placed in either fist or on 5mm forearm ports, or on the 5mm port on his back. There are some new transformation features on this toy, especially with the lower leg transformation. Overall it's nice to see a new toy based on a new character with some new engineering concepts. Something that seems less common these days with so many toys being remakes of previously existing figures/characters.

Two small gripes:
- The bonnet panel that covers Aftermath's buttocks does restrict waist articulation.
- The eyes are painted red despite being yellow in the cartoon.
