Default Takara Tomy T-Spark Zone Jan 17-19 Akihabara

On 17th-19 January 2025, Taktom held a small exhibition on their T-Spark line up in Akihabara.

I went and was mostly active on the Discord, but I've made a post on my blog containing the experiences of my adventure.

    Read about it here:

Those photos were really interesting. Thanks for uploading them.

I am yet to see much coming up I really want to get. The AOP flamey tank dude is a probably and I definitely want the Sunstreaker as a child owner of a G1 of him. I like the idea of the Zoid crossover.

Solus Prime is a blacksmith so she would wear an apron, but when you hear the female robot is wearing an apron it does sound 1950s!

Thanks for sharing the pics and first hand thoughts.

Ah Solus Prime, ok thanks. I am rather put of touch with various Primes and whatnot. The biggest problem with the figure is her apron is pretty much a big slab of plastic which must get in the eay somehow.

The apron (which is absurd - why would a mechanical life-form require an apron) is articulated in at least one place, precisely to allow freer movement. But if I recall correctly from the pictures of a couple of months ago, it doesn't look like it would work very well.

Ah, there we go. For some reason the people best placed to display these things don't seem to put much effort into actually showing off how they work (and thus answering in advance the questions that the buyers will ask endlessly). Only one of those pictures shows the full articulation, which as it turns out isn't just the flap flipping up; as the walking picture shows, it is split into three strips that can move independantly of each other.

Because Solus Prime is a metal smith, forging with molten metal. Blacksmiths always wear aprons, or else they burn off their privates.
Now that I think about it, I’m curious to see under that apron. But I think I now understand why it’s not removable
On the lookout for MISB Headmaster Highbrow, Takara or Hasbro. I'm sure I could make you a sweet deal!
