    Good reissues:

    Pipes.
    Outback.
    Gears.
    Huffer.
    Powerglide.
    Ratchet.
    Sky Lynx.
    Targetmaster Kup.
    Sixshot.
    Megatron.
    Ultra Magnus.

    Bad reissues:

Optimus Prime, Meister/Jazz and most of the other toys they feel the need to reissue every year. New (old) moulds please!

I too like the old Metroplex, Omega, Sky Lynx love that we have recieved,
but the one that supriised me the most would have to be Star Convoy.

I got it on a whim and thought it would be just a lame block, and well, he is blocky, but with the electronic treads, base mode and Mini Hotrod, he is sooooooo cool! Never expected to actually like the toy!!

I don't really do the G1 thing, but the Predaking set from a few years ago would have interested me.
Which brings us to where we are today...

Omega is my favourite, but I'll always have a softspot for Ratchet, no matter how bad the toy is, because he was kick arse in the old Marvel Comics.

I generally am very fond of the TFC reissues as there is always something 'extra' - eg energon cubes, goodies that come with SS.

I'm glad stuff like Soundblaster and Twincast got reissued too. Now all they have to do is reissue Artfire.

I'm with you guys on Sky Lynx and Omega Supreme too.

I've got vintage ones of these but its such a chore to take extra care keeping my hands clean while handling Sky Lynx for fear that some impurities might make the fella turn yellow (just like one of my Jetfires).

So to heck with it, I just got 3 Encore Sky Lynxs and shall worry no more about yellowing (ok, it was $48 a pop in Singapore so in total, its still less than a single vintage Sky Lynx).

What are some of the best aussie places to buy the reissues and what should one steer clear of in terms of the make? I've seen a few on ebay recently, but just not sure if the price is right.

    Cheers,

    Chris
