What I like:
+ She is rare in being one of very few purple non-Decepticon/Predacon toys.
+ I also like her green eyes, also making her uncommon these days where almost every bloody TF toy has blue or red eyes.
+ The silver hubcaps are also a nice touch.
+ Solus Prime's hammerhead looks really nice, and even includes a Solus Prime insignia on the top.
+ Solus Prime's head sculpt has a heavy G1 Optimus Prime influence, which is nice to see and sets her apart from the other Primes (so far).
What I'm impartial to:
/ There is a pair of breasts sculpted on the chest. This isn't an incidental boob-like chest like on most other female TFs (e.g. Arcee), but a defined pair of humanlike breasts. I'm not saying that this is a good or bad thing, to be honest, it makes about as much sense as having a human-like body or facial features, hands etc., so why not boobs? Also, Masterpiece and Kingdom Blackarachnia have defined breasts in their robot mode that serve no other function (e.g. alt mode kibble). There's also a sternum line that separates the two breasts, which - and I'm sure this is coincidental, also resembles the Kanji character for "mother," which historically evolved from an image of a pair of breasts.
What I'm not a fan of:
- The base of the hammer handle needs to be so thick and have an additional wider part attached to it. I guess it's to make the hammer look like a cannon in vehicle mode, but the downside is that you cannot simply insert/remove the hammer from either of Solus Prime's fist. Instead, you have to remove and reattach the hammerhead to slide it in and out of the fist holes. Creating unnecessary steps like this becomes a hassle during toy play, because you have to pause and fiddle with the hammerhead if you want to make her quickly throw and pick up her hammer in the middle of a fight. It's not a problem if you're just posing the toy, but it can be annoying during actual play time when you have to pause the action.
- Not a fan of the gappy back half of the vehicle mode.
- One of the feet on mine pops off really easily... the other foot is fine. It could just be on my copy, but also something easily fixed with Fix-Loose-Joints Action figure or clear polish.
Tip: use some force to push the upper back panel in to prevent it from accidentally popping out during play.
OVERALL
An adequate Transformer action figure. It's neither amazing nor awful. Prepare for the cromulence.

Same issue with one ankle coming out - but otherwise a fun little figure, so far I have really enjoyed these '13' figures.
