Well then instead of them (hastak) issuing characters which take up a lot of promotion and hype. Why not just issue these well known characters which already has a stable fanbase? Just hype it up to get to the newr buyers... eg.g Bludgeon, Arcee - cmon if they issued this in Classics, It woul "fly off" the shelves the moment any fanboy, young and old sees it. It would cost likely just the same but they dont have to think that hard about it.... just a little freshening up viola the figures will sell.... they just don't get it. Proof that there is indeed evil in this world

The problem wasn't so much that they poorly chose the first characters to release, it was that they had TERRIBLE distribution, even in the United States, making certain figures almost inaccessible and extremely difficult to find.

As a result of this bad management, the Hasbro Accounting staff did not see the revenue they expected and deemed the line a failure. If you go to the US forums, there are lots of complaints about how difficult it was to obtain the figures and how many had to resort to online buyers. Hasbro of course, is oblivious to that.

Despite the poor distribution, it likely would've flopped anyway. I don't think the quality of the toys would've had the mass market coming back.

I would, mind you, but I find it hard these bricks would've succeeded in any event

Agreed. I would be more upset if I heard that a Classics Bludgeon had been cancelled - but Ti Series? Meh.

I am sad because we haven't had a Bludgeon since G1! And I am a Bludgeon fan.

It would have been ultra cool if he looked like his IDW appeareance.

Again I think a Classics version of that would be better than a Titanium Series one. *nods*

Not that it matters, if he had've been "released" the only place we couldve gotten him from would be casefresh.

Hasbro royally screwed up Titanium, their first two releases were terrible, yet they were about the only figures that got a decent release.
