Looking at the BigW website, last week's catalogue (ending April 8th) notes 50% off selected items, but doesn't have any Transformers items noted.... and $12 is a lot more than 50% off BigW's price for the Cyberverse Deluxe toys.
The website still lists them for $39, so maybe someone adjusted the price in the computers for the stores by accident. I don't recall BigW having spot sales of such huge discounts, so it is certainly something unusual.

That Optimus toy is a good toy and at that price unmissable. I’d buy all of them for $12 if I lucked on to that special.

Also spotted in QLD, with clearance shelf tags... so must be an in-store thing, as the website still has them at full price.
Odd that it is just the one product though, so it isn't a whole brand just to get people into the stores (which is currently prohibited if people are just there to get toys - not that it is being enforced).

Any other time I’d be rushing out to try and get the other three for (basically) the price of one but I have no essential need to got to a Big W.
