i went into shintokyo on sunday 4th and noticed they restocked henkei mirage and i was so tempted to buy it but had already spent $400 at hlj.com (free express shipping promotion) and a few hundred from members on this forum, so decided not to.

it was marked at $39.90 and members price $34.90. i thought, i should be able to find it cheaper online.

today i was in norwood near the city, so said screw it, i'll buy mirage anyway and give shintokyo some more of my money thinking i'll support them a little since they're local.

but wtf? the price was raised by $5! I argued with the staff about this but they denied it all. annoyed by all this i left and didnt bother buying it.

so now i've decided they can go !@#$ themselves.

i actually paid $40 each for the henkei C-18/19 minibot attack/spy teams even when i knew i could get them cheaper from robotkingdom. they dont even have any chrome on them! rip off.

so i hate you shintokyo. go to hell.

My experiences with Shin Tokyo have been great! Sure, some of their staff don't always know what they're talking about, but that's no different to Kmart or TRU.

As for the price, maybe it was part of their sale? Maybe it was priced incorrectly on Sunday and someone else changed it? Dunno. All I do know is that $44.90 (which I'm guessing is the price you saw today) is what Henkeis usually cost there, so anything cheaper would have been a sale/mistake/bargain price.

yeah this is the only problem i've had with them so far. if they had admitted it being a pricing error then i would have been fine with that. but im pretty sure a few of the less popular henkeis were priced at $39.90 and not the usual $44.90.

it definately wasnt a sale price. those are yellow ticketed.

This is what I dont understand... When I got mine at Hollywood 2-3 weeks back, there was at least 20 Silverbolts. So is this just parents getting random TF's for their kids to shut them up, or is there a legion of undiscovered TF collectors in Adelaide? Cause even if every SA member on OTCA got one, they would still have some left unless there are some closet collectors around maybe? =oP

Found these 2-packs at Hollywood Plaza Target today, same price, and had 4 of each left.

I bought both packs, quite happy with the Air Raid/Storm Surge pack, but the Clocker/Hardtop pack had some QC issues, namely the two swinging plates on the back of Clockers legs look like they were moulded with much cheaper plastic (looks warped), and therefore don't actually clip where they are supposed to. I might return it, but as many here may know, it can sometimes be a bad move to return a 10 minutes to beer-o-clock figure, and end up with a dead on beer-o-clock figure =oP
