A New York City woman has sued DreamWorks Productions, LLC for copyright infringement on her Bee-otch car freshner design in "Transformers," reports the New York Post.

The suit, seeking $850,000 in damages, was filed in Brooklyn federal court and claims that DreamWorks bought several of the air fresheners but never asked permission to sell it a version of it.
Alia Madden originally created the design back in 2002 and licensed it out for use on car fresheners, mugs, and shirts.
Now that it has gained wide popularity after being featured as Bumblebee's car freshener, many think she is ripping off the design.
Ms. Madden claims that the only difference between her design and the one featured in "Transformers" is the absent copyright notice in the film version.
