    Default The Hotter Things Get....

..the more Hot Spot and Inferno like them. But what about the rest of us?

The Melbourne forecast for this week is
    Tues: 38
    Weds: 41
    Thurs: 40
    Fri: 40
    Sat: 40
    Sun: 31

The media is telling us it's the longest heatwave in Melbourne since 1908! We had a cold December but it looks like Summer is about to strike back!

I believe Sydney's been having some really hot weather recently too.

Will we cope and just as importantly will our Transformers cope? Iceburn raised an interesting question in another thread. Will Transformers melt? Keep them away from the windows!

I remember last year when we had a stinking hot New Years seeing that the rub signs on my Classic TFs were activated just by radiant heat.

Beach is suicidal. Lucky, I'll be missing most of this in my lovely low 20's in Sarasota, Florida.

my another good reason to take a week's leave not just to see the tennis match..
even on TV, I can say how hot is it outside - as the cameraman shows mirage eminating over the tennis court..

My workplace is a very comfortable 19 degrees.
My home is a stinking hot concrete box that once heated just doesn't cool down.

Might put some extra hours in at work this week.

My biggest problem with this weather is only getting in and out of a place. It's the transition from cold to hot that kills.

Home is very pleasant at night thanks to air conditioning and just generally a good build.

The beaches aren't as good as u think they are. Great views and lots of fun but it doesn't take any of that heat away. By the time u get back in the car, ur sweaty, hot again, grimy and sandy and by the time u get home so is the car.

And it makes me think twice about catching the train to work (well when I start next week anyway)
