I know it's hot when my cricket bat's grip melted up against my cupboard! Knew I should've left the aircon on at home.

This is because the City and the eastern row of suburbs are cooled down by the neighbouring ocean. Melbourne City is close to the bay, but quite a distance from the ocean.

I'd post up a long and detailed rant on the warmth, but I can only muster up the strength to say...

Well, definitely gone to the extreme opposite.

Category 1 Cyclone last weekend made landfall about 50km's away, today a low that bordered on a cyclone made landfall directly on top of us. Suffice to say the catchments have received plenty of rain in the last 48 hours, combined with the start of king tides for a few days, we've got a flood!

Front page of the Daily Telegraph this morning claims that NSW is going to be the hottest place on Earth this weekend with 47 degree heat forecast. I didn't read the article properly though so I'm not sure what they're basing that claim on. (<_<)

Either way it's gonna be a STINKER this w/e. (T_T)

    You can take it back.
I find it easier to get warm when it is cold then to cool down when it's hot
