i just used a bit of gaffa tape over it to plug it up
so there was no real mod? just gaffa tape to plug a hole and therefore provide greater air compression in the chambers... pretty logical if you had to really think about it...
second option would be to gaffa tape the darts so air doesnt escape through the pourous sponge....
i havent tried it, im just thinking out loud

not exactly
i did gaffa tape up the hole, but i also drilled out the dart peg and the air restrictor to allow more air to flow in. also i streteched the spring to give it more compressive force.
next, i need new O rings for a better seal in the plunger
and some new darts
your gaffa tape idea has intrigued me, time for some experimentation :P

I've got a vulcan, it's a boatload of fun to just sit back and shoot the cat with it, it really freaks him out!
