DAMN!!! I feel sorry for the people who all bought that.

Hey guys, im pretty new to this forum and have not gone through all the threads so not sure if it has been covered elsewhere, but i seriously don't know why people are fussing to get this pack in the first place.

Do people not know that you can just simply use the original G1 Ultra Magnus launchers and missiles and it fits in the Fans project CC armour perfectly?
The magnus gun that they are selling even looks like a straight cast of the original G1 magnus gun too.
The fans project original head is not that bad either so it beats me why people fork out >50USD for this when they can buy a complete TRU magnus encore or G1 original magnus weapon set for less??

well, the end story is the prototype picture of the head didn't really came out as expected, esp with the smiley face. it's the seller's first time producing the figure.

Using G1 Ultra Magnus launchers, yes you can but that will make your G1 magnus incomplete right?

Unless you purchase the missile and launchers separately which will still cost more than A$36. Show me a Magnus (definitely there aren't an encore version!) or missile and launcher that can beat a price and i'll give you a thumbs up.

Again, you may not like it, others might feel otherwise.

i've gone to question the "producer". my initial limited 2 out of 50 sets might even have the same head that i've no idea it look that bad with the only pictures i have

I have a spare junker UM with plastic tires from a lot i won, but it came complete with all accessories, so i dont mind using his launchers and missiles for my CC UM. My other G1 UM is complete. So i see your point and i guess not everybody has that luxury.

Did you buy a set for only 36AUD? well then that is a pretty good buy because the set that i just saw on ebay was sold for 75USD (not including p/h), so i was more directing my comments at that price range.

Sorry, i meant TRU hasbro reissue UM not 'encore'. You know that ones with the short smokestacks that not eveybody likes? Well, those ones are being sold for less due to the lower popularity and i just figured that it doesnt hurt to inform people of their options.

Very very disappointing. I only wanted the headmold mainly as I already had a spare G1 ultra Magnus and missiles. The white gun's okay but hardly necessary. Very disappointed. At least there are missiles but they honestly should refund people partially for this

Har har - having seen this I'm actually planning on filling the grooves around the face up. I even bought two - so why the heck not for me?
Seriously though, very disappointed with the quality of the mould.

I got the junker UM from a Huge lot and when i divided up the final cost, it worked out that i paid about 30aud for him with the weapons (Total lot was purchased well under value). UM had severe chromewear on smokestacks. All tyres were plastic, broken trailer tabs and to top it off both autobot insignias were permanently glued on the arms.... Perhaps, i have undervalued the complete weapons set at the time???

Btw, i didnt mean any disrespect. I didnt realise that you and others on this forum have purchased this CC upgrade pack prior to my post.

Anyways, it sux to hear these sorts of things happening.

i wished i've owned a G1 missile and launchers for the CCKit. well, this will do for now.

Looking at the pic of CC kit side by side with the new head mold.... eeeeew, looks like it was melting of sumthing. Good thing I gave this a pass, Ill try my luck finding a spare Um launcher and missles instead of ending with Joker Magnus hehehehe
